Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

One time that I took a hiatus on something was during my wrestling training. I remember that I was having a pretty tough time back then and I was pretty stressed about school and family. The conditioning for wrestling was to say the least very intense, we would do college work outs that were brutal. I took this break in a form of skipping conditioning (I know not the best) but it was only for about two weeks with only four workouts per week. I think that break positively impacted me because I was able to sort myself out if just a good bit, but I was able to come back and finish the season. Today we just took notes on a way to brainstorm ideas

Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

I don't really like relying on people and the only usual time that I do is when I am sick. Especially when I had my first COVID sickness, and my mom took care of me. I had thrown up in the middle of the night and she helped me up and got me in a different place and cleaned it up. I am thankful for that becaus I did have a pretty high fever and was a little delirious, I felt very grateful for my mom being there for me. Today we read letters 41- 45 and did a group quiz I was a little concerned that we would get not the best grade but with Mr.Reases help with question 10 we got a 100.

Write about an object that holds sentimental value and why it’s important to you

An item that I have that holds sentimental value is a gray round plush pillow. I got this pillow a while ago I can't really remember how many years it's been but I got it at a Walmart in one of those random iron bar containors. We were also at the beach at the time and it's the most comfortable thing I've ever owned. I liked it so much every week when I went to my other parents house I would bring It with me with a few other things now. Today we read just 2 pages of the book and did some weird chart thingy. I was definitely a little confused about the chart thing but once I rubbed two of my brain cells together I realized that it gave an example.

Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone

A time I had to step out of my comfort zone was when my mom pressured me into going on a tour of a college. I mean it was pretty cool in the end and I had a decent time seeing all the stuff, but I guess I'm more of a home body. In the end it was fine I suppose but atleast I can say I've done it a few times now. Today we read a few letters of The Color Purple, actually it might of been just 2 I don't really remember. For some reason I felt like we weren't going to continue to read the book after the break but that also might be because I forgot about it but I kinda like the book so I don't mind that we are continuing it.

If you were President of the United States of America, what are 5 things that you would do and why?

If I was President of the United States I would do a lot of stuff for the citizens rights. Firstly I would try to make abortion a right that any woman has. Secondly I would stop the support of Isreal because no matter what has transpired no country should be commiting genocides. Thirdly I would implement huge taxations on the super wealthy. Next I would completely try to ban lobbying because corporations should not be puppeteering our government. Finally I would try to make universal health care available in the US because health is a human right not something that is only an option if you can afford it. Today we read an article on Jimmy Carter and his presidency It was pretty easy and I think I did pretty good on the written response so I'm kinda proud of myself.

Write about a dream that felt real.

I had a dream one time back in middle school I'd say it was a really simple dream. My dad had woken me up for school but I suppose I fell asleep and dreamed that I had gotten ready for school like gotten up got dressed and all that stuff. So when my dad had to wake me up again I was beyond confused and thought that I was already good to go but I had to do it all over again. Today we did no work all we did was read a few letters from the color purple.

Summarize your holiday break. In addition, write about 5 personal goals that you want to achieve in 2025. Explain why you chose those goals.

My holiday break was pretty fun but it was also chill. Mostly I just played video games but I did go ice-skating with my family which was alright but it was my first time ice-skating and my ankles were hurting a lot, I'm convinced that I was probably doing it wrong. I also went go kart racing with my dad on a actual track up in the mountains and we had five sessions and it was probably one of the fun times I ever had.  Goals 1. To do my assignments on time , because I don't want to worry about doing stuff after the due date has passed 2. To get my drivers license : / , Because It's a normal goal but I'm just a bit lazy 3. To get back in shape , I do miss being strong 4. To get my sleep schedule back on track , Im tired of being tired 5. Read my books more , I only really read at school and I'm not really making much progress anymore
