Today’s article discussed how more people are choosing to live in the suburbs rather than in the city. When you become an adult, which lifestyle do you think you would prefer—city life or suburban life? Choose one and explain your reasons clearly.

 When I become an adult I think I'd want to live in the suburbs. Personally I've been to a few cities before and honestly they are in my opinion consistently dirty and filled with homeless people, I really value trees in my environment. I really just like the openess of suburbs and feeling closer to nature, well as close as you can get in decatur. In general I just don't like being in cities it is just not my thing. Today we just did a quick common lit about populations in suburbs and cities Common lits are pretty nice for Fridays they help with the finding down of the week days into the weekend.

Based on the two informational passages that you've read thus far this week, write about how you will personally strive to avoid student loan debt?

 I know that my parents have put money into a college fund over the years that will really help take care of a majority of the costs. I'm also considering getting a job over the summer and maybe during my time at college to save up money. I also want to get any of the scholarships/grants or what other things that give me money. Today we just went over a common lit assignment and talked about college loan debt.

Talk about a time when you felt like you were about to lose your mind. Answer in at least a paragraph.

 I have played a video game before where the whole point is that the controls are difficult and one mistake could result in losing so much progress. I played that game for a long time and I had gotten decently far but near one point I would constitently get stuck and fall far down and would have to climb back up again. This repeated god knows how many times and I don't really get mad often but the repetition and failiures just made me crazy. It also doesn't help that I was very stubborn and didn't want to give up but eventually I just had to I was getting no where. To day we read a short story called the "Yellow Wallpaper" and did some discussion questions on a sheet of paper. I really enjoyed the story because it makes comments that don't make sense in the moment but when you get further in the story there are these connections that you start to make and things just come together.
