Easter Sunday was yesterday, a holiday full of traditions for many people. What holiday do you look forward to the most each year, and why is it your favorite? Share what you usually do to celebrate it and what makes it meaningful or fun for you.

 Honestly I enjoy what I assume has to be the most celebrated christian holiday and that is Christmas. Obviously it is my favorite because that is when I get the most gifts in the year, but I also like it because I enjoy watching my family open gifts, whether that is a gift I had got them or a gift that someone else got them. I really just like to see their reactions whether that is excitment and joy or just plain pretending to like the gift, any reaction is fun to watch. We usually just eat a nice breakfast and then open the gifts and sometimes we will go over to a grandparents house and celebrate with the reat of the family.

Today we did some sort of testing thing to guage ourselfs I think I don't really know.

I've defenitly done this test before and I can't remember if it was this year or junior year.

 Today we were tasked with writing a poem on our culture, And to be honest I do have some ideas but I feel like all of the poems I have read before are kind of messing with my ideas. I know that the poems we write can be freeform but 98% of the poems I have read in my life always rhymed so for some reason I feel like I have to make mine rhyme too, I'll probably just have to work with what ever I have got so we'll see how it goes. Aside from that nothing really happened today although I was trying to go to gym today and there was a fight right outside of the entrance to the gym, I don't really know why they were fighting and I also don't really know who they were but I just think thats because I usually like to mind my business, but that's all anyway.

Write about a feeling that took you by surprise

 My dad just had his birthday and my step-mom had got me to sign his card but I wasnt allowed to look at the back of the card because apparently It would spoil the surprise which confused me because it wasnt even my birthday. Though after we had dinner he started to open his gifts and he got to the big box that had the gift that was pictured on the back of the card. The gift was a stand and chair for a racing simulation because we already had the wheel and pedels. Even though it was his gift I knew that he was gonna let me use it and I was super shocked when he unwrapped it. Today we learned about the open defication problem in India. I kinda understand if maybe you are in a rural part of the country but if you even have one latrine then I think its weird that you wouldnt use it. I guess some beliefs are more powerful than the belief in hygine.

The impact of gender roles

 Today we went over gender roles and how thay impact us. We went over some slides and we did an assignment about gender roles and how they impact ourselves and our culture, And how the people around us form our beliefs in what our roles should be. It was an okay class today it wasn´t really my favorite but thats probably because it doesn´t really interest me. I also had a nice easy day today and I had a small quiz which I got an 100 on so that was a nice satisfying second period.
